Gano Excel Products: What Kind of Sweetener Is In Our Products?

At least once a day, someone asks us, our Customer Service Representatives, or one of you out in the Field what we use to sweeten our enriched products.

The simple answer is “sugar” — good, old-fashioned, natural pure cane sugar!

“But wait,” you might say, “Why don’t you use something more ‘organic’ like Stevia, Brown Sugar, or Agave syrup? Wouldn’t that be better?”

Director of Field Relations Mike Marumoto sat down with us to explain why Gano Excel uses sugar in our products:
“Gano Excel is targeting the typical coffee consumer. We aren’t targeting the 3% of people that obsess over wheat grass and do yoga 5 times a day! (Not that there’s anything wrong with wheatgrass and yoga: I mean, we are a California-based company, after all!) We’re targeting average people that expect their coffee to taste YUMMY!”

“Besides, Gano Excel has a product for EVERYBODY – including the wheat grass and yoga fanatics.” DFR Mike jokes: “We DO have a product with Stevia in it: it’s called our Ganocafe Classic. The thing is, we just leave the Stevia at your house! We provide the Ganoderma-enriched BLACK coffee, and let you customize it exactly to your health and taste standards.”

So, see, it’s really quite simple: we’re in the people-pleasing business, and people want sugar in their coffee! And anyway, the magic of our enriched products isn’t what they don’t have, but what they do have Ganoderma lucidum, the most healthful herb known to man!

Gano Mocha: WHAT CAN GANO DO FOR ME?
“Indulge yourself in a frothy, rich mocha without the coffeehouse guilt…”

Good-quality Gano Lucidum, when taken regularly,  has been known to treat, eliminate, and continue to protect against

* Chronic fatigue
* Depression
* Rheumatoid and Osteo Arthritis
* Fibromyalgia
* Effects of Aging
* “Fuzzy” Thinking
* Diabetes
* Kidney & Liver Diseases
* High Cholesterol
* High Blood Pressure
* Sleep Problems
* Slow Healing
* Low Sex Drive . . .
and even various forms of CANCER

OH, COME ON! HOW CAN GANO DO ALL THAT?

Gano Lucidum is the most powerful antioxidant known to man. It literally floods the body with its ultra-potent “weapons” (antioxidants) which fight off free radicals.  Free radicals are the core cause of almost all health problems because they invade and destroy healthy cell growth. Ultimately, healthy cells are wiped out completely. That’s when we begin to age, get sick, develop various “conditions” and succumb to disease.

And please remember, we are not diagnosing or treating disease. We are in no way making claims about our product’s medical or physical value.

Lingzhi may possess anti-tumor, immunomodulatory and immunotherapeutic activities, supported by studies on polysaccharides, terpenes, and other bioactive compounds isolated from fruiting bodies and mycelia of this fungus.

It has also been found to inhibit platelet aggregation, and to lower blood pressure (via inhibition of angiotensin-converting enzyme, cholesterol and blood sugar.

Laboratory studies have shown anti-neoplastic effects of fungal extracts or isolated compounds against some types of cancer. In an animal model, Ganoderma has been reported to prevent cancer metastasis, with potency comparable to Lentinan from Shiitake mushrooms.

The mechanisms by which G. lucidum may affect cancer are unknown and they may target different stages of cancer development: inhibition of angiogenesis (formation of new, tumor-induced blood vessels, created to supply nutrients to the tumor) mediated by cytokines, cytoxicity, inhibiting migration of the cancer cells and metastasis, and inducing and enhancing apoptosis of tumor cells.

Additional studies indicate that ganoderic acid can help to strengthen the liver against liver injury by viruses and other toxic agents in mice, suggesting a potential benefit of this compound in the prevention of liver diseases in humans.
